This is a solid, good looking handguard. It doesn’t have anti-rotation tabs, So, just to be on the safe side, I installed a low profile 90 degree pocatinny offset between the front of the upper and the rear of the handguard. It does the job and the rifle looks great.
Be prepared to do a little fitting. I had to round off the bottom of the handguard where it mated up against the lower receiver takedown pin lugs. Before fitting, it was digging into the forward takedown pin lugs and the upper wouldn’t rotate al the way down. A few passes with a file, some smoothing out with 120 grit sandpaper, and a little aluminum black fixed that.
Oversll, this handguard is a great value and I’d buy it again.
